Job summary

Helen & Douglas House in Windsor is seeking a Sales Assistant for a permanent, part-time role. You will welcome customers, assist with daily shop operations, and help maintain an inviting, well-presented space. Prior hospitality or retail experience is desirable, with full training provided.

Sales Assistant
  • Hours:15 hours per week, 2 days over a 7 day trading week (including some weekends)

We’re excited to be recruiting for a new Sales Assistant role at our Windsor shop, on a permanent, part-time basis.

You’ll be one of the welcoming faces of the shop, helping to create a warm, boutique shopping experience while supporting the team to keep things running smoothly. A friendly, customer-focused approach is important in this role. Previous experience in hospitality, high street retail or charity retail is desirable, but full training will be provided.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Welcoming customers and creating a positive, inclusive shop environment
  • Supporting day-to-day shop operations, including accurate cashiering, banking and donations
  • Creating attractive displays and maintaining high standards of presentation for a clean, welcoming shop floor
  • Working alongside a brilliant team of staff and volunteers

The Windsor shop is open 7 days a week and the role will require some weekends on a rota basis (It could be the ideal role for somebody specifically looking for weekend work).
