Job summary

schuh in Cardiff is hiring a Temporary Sales Assistant to deliver excellent customer service, greet customers and share in-depth product knowledge. You'll strive to meet KPIs, process payments, handle customer orders and reservations, and keep stock and merchandising up to standard.

You will also assist with opening and shutdown procedures, with full training provided. Prior retail experience is helpful but not required, and there are generous discounts and flexible hours as part of the package.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Sales Assistant to join our store in Cardiff.

Candidates must have flexible availability throughout festive period.

Hourly rates will match or exceed the national minimum wage for your age.

About what you’ll be doing –

• Delivering the highest level of customer service possible, greeting and approaching customers and providing in depth product knowledge
• Striving to meet KPIs and personal targets
• Processing payments, customer orders and reservations
• Stock management and shop floor merchandising
• Maintaining high standards both on shop floor and in back areas
• Assisting with opening/shutdown procedures
• Previous experience is not essential, however customer service and/or retail experience would be preferable. Full training will be given for the role.
