schuh in Newcastle is seeking a Temporary Sales Assistant to join our store. The role focuses on greeting customers, providing in-depth product knowledge, and driving sales with strong service standards.

You’ll work with a friendly team, achieve KPIs, handle payments and orders, and help with stock and merchandising. Training is provided, with a benefits package and flexible hours to suit your schedule.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Sales Assistant to join our store in Newcastle.

Hourly rates will match or exceed the national minimum wage for your age.

About what you’ll be doing –

• Delivering the highest level of customer service possible, greeting and approaching customers and providing in depth product knowledge
• Striving to meet KPIs and personal targets
• Processing payments, customer orders and reservations
• Stock management and shop floor merchandising
• Maintaining high standards both on shop floor and in back areas
• Assisting with opening/shutdown procedures
• Previous experience is not essential, however customer service and/or retail experience would be preferable. Full training will be given for the role.
