Job summary

schuh in Exeter is seeking a Temporary Sales Assistant to support the store team with customer service excellence and product knowledge. You will engage customers, help with orders, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Sales Assistant to join our store in Exeter.

Candidates must be available for Black Friday, flexibility across weekends and weekdays along with the ability to work either Christmas Eve or Boxing day.

Hourly rates will match or exceed the national minimum wage for your age.

About what you’ll be doing –

• Delivering the highest level of customer service possible, greeting and approaching customers and providing in depth product knowledge
• Striving to meet KPIs and personal targets
• Processing payments, customer orders and reservations
• Stock management and shop floor merchandising
• Maintaining high standards both on shop floor and in back areas
• Assisting with opening/shutdown procedures
• Previous experience is not essential, however customer service and/or retail experience would be preferable. Full training will be given for the role.
