Job summary

Clarks is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Portsmouth to support the Store Manager and lead the retail team in daily operations, customer service, and performance delivery.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong communication skills, able to drive KPIs, manage inventory, and operate POS systems in a fast-paced retail environment. Weekend and bank holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership or supervisory roles preferred.
• Able to drive KPI performance and results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead a team.
• Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible to work a 7-day shift pattern, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
