CLARK'S in Grays is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading our retail team and running daily operations. This hands-on leadership role requires experience in retail supervision, strong communication, the ability to drive KPIs, and flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.

You will lead by example in a fast-paced store environment, ensuring high standards of service and store presentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership or supervisory roles.
• Ability to drive KPIs and achieve targets.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Flexible to work a 7-day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Comfortable with POS systems, inventory management, and MS Office/Google Workspace tools.

About the role:

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading our retail team and driving daily operations. This role is a blend of leadership, customer service, and operational management. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who can step in wherever needed to ensure the store runs smoothly and meets performance goals.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in retail leadership, supervisory, or keyholder roles preferred.
• Comfortable in driving KPI’s and results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Strong communication and Solid organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work a 7-day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.
