Sales and Events Director : Venues and Events, London, A GBP 65k : A GBP 70k + Bonus

We are working with a specialist catering and events business who are seeking an experienced Sales and Events Director to join their team as they continue to expand. As a brand they are super passionate about great food, fantastic service, and sustainability

The Sales and Events Director will be responsible for managing the sales team, implementing strategic sales plans, as well as targeting new business opportunities and expand their venue portfolio.

The Role

  • Lead and develop the sales and marketing team to achieve and exceed targets
  • Identify and engage potential clients through market research, calls, and meetings
  • Assist in preparing bids and tenders, ensuring they align with client needs
  • Deliver persuasive sales pitches and presentations
  • Set budgets, track profitability, monitor KPIs, and provide regular reports to senior management

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven track record in business development within catering and events
  • Previous experience managing high:performing sales teams
  • Strong networking and relationship:building skills
  • Experience in preparing bids and tenders
  • Proactive, flexible and a real team player
