Job summary

Genus PLC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Sales and Breeding Advisor to join our team and support customers across Cheshire. You will be the key contact for tailoring genetic solutions and expert breeding advice to improve herd performance and profitability.

You will build strong customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and manage field visits while staying abreast of industry trends and biotech innovations to help customers reach their goals.

Qualifications

  • Background or strong interest in dairy farming, breeding, or animal genetics.
  • Proven sales experience in agriculture, biotech, or related field with consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized and capable of working independently.
  • Based in the UK and willing to travel within the UK; full UK driving license required.

  • Serve as the primary advisor for customers, ensuring optimal product and service recommendations to drive genetic gains and farm profitability.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities through strategic prospecting and lead generation.

We are looking for an experienced sales person to join our team as a Sales and Breeding Advisor.

You will be the key point of contact for our customers across Cheshire.

You will work directly with progressive farmers, offering tailored genetic solutions and expert breeding advice to help them achieve measurable improvements in herd performance and profitability.

You Will
