Job summary

Saltrock is seeking a Sales Advisor on a 16 hour contract based in Kendal. You will work with a retail team to deliver an excellent customer experience and maintain an inviting store environment.

You will help drive sales, share product knowledge, and keep the store tidy and well merchandised. Training and support are provided as part of our coastal lifestyle brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in Retail would be desirable but not essential.
• Ability to engage with customers and build rapport.
• Comfort with till operations and handling cash/cards.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by demonstrating passion for the product and brand while processing sales transactions with care.
• Ensure customers have a positive experience, creating an inviting atmosphere.
• Keep housekeeping to a high standard to maintain a healthy, safe store.
• Provide product information including features, benefits and stock availability.
• Assist with markdown/price changes within agreed timescales.
• Keep product tidy, presentable and replenish as needed.
• Support merchandising of products in line with guidelines.
• Process deliveries and assist as required with stock flow.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energeticteam, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers deliveringan excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve salestargets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand whileprocessing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positiveexperience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standardthe outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed ourcustomers with information about our product including features and benefitsand stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidyand presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction withour guidelines
• Process deliveries
