Job summary

Winemark in Annalong, Northern Ireland, is looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to deliver outstanding customer service and support the Store Manager in daily operations, including stock control and security.

You will actively sell, maintain high merchandising standards, handle cash accurately, and work as part of a friendly team with a passion for wine and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent.
• Three months previous experience in a retail environment.
• Excellent communication with customers; strong written, verbal and listening skills.
• Able to actively sell to customers.
• Personal drive and can-do attitude.
• Good standard of dress and appearance.
• Team player with ability to work in a team environment.
• Interest and/or knowledge of wine.
• Previous cash handling experience.
• Previous stock handling and control experience.

Responsibilities

• To assume responsibility for housekeeping standards both inside and outside the store according to Company standards.

• To comply with the Company regulations with regard to cash handling and administration.
• To comply with all health and safety information and to ensure compliance with all licensing and trading standards legislation.
• Any other duties relevant and related to the post.
