Job summary

SeeMeHired.com is recruiting a Sales Advisor for the Longstone store (8 hours per week). You will provide friendly, knowledgeable service, maintain product knowledge, and help drive sales while upholding store standards.

You’ll assist the Store Manager with stock, merchandising and promotions, ensuring security and a safe shopping environment. A background in retail, good communication and a smart appearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Three months' retail experience.
• Excellent communication with customers; written and verbal skills.
• Strong customer focus and ability to sell.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Presentable appearance and team player.

Responsibilities

• To assist in customer relations by maintaining excellent customer service at all times, including an up to date knowledge of store products on display.
• Identifying selling opportunities and acting on these
• To assume responsibility for housekeeping standards both inside and outside the store according to Company standards
• To ensure that stock is controlled and merchandised to Company standards at all times
• To assist with promotional set up
• To ensure that the premises are safe and secure at all times
• To comply with the Company regulations with regard to cash handling and administration
• To comply with all health and safety information and to ensure compliance with all licensing and trading standards legislation
• Any other duties relevant and related to the post

• To provide the best level of service to Winemark customers in accordance with the Company’s standards and procedures

• Personal Drive and a pleasant, positive and enthusiastic, “can do” attitude, demonstrating an appropriate level of motivation

• Good standard of dress and appearance - clean and well groomed

• A good team player with the ability to work in a team environment

• Interest and/or knowledge of wine

• Previous experience of cash handling

• Previous experience of stock handling and control
