Job summary

Winemark in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, is seeking a customer-focused retail assistant with a passion for wine to deliver excellent service and support store operations. You will engage with customers, maintain product knowledge, and help with stock control and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in customer relations by maintaining excellent customer service at all times, including an up to date knowledge of store products on display.
• Identifying selling opportunities and acting on these.
• Assume responsibility for housekeeping standards both inside and outside the store according to Company standards.
• Ensure stock is controlled and merchandised to Company standards at all times.
• Assist with promotional set up.
• Ensure premises are safe and secure at all times.
• Comply with Company regulations with regard to cash handling and administration.
• Comply with all health and safety information and to ensure compliance with all licensing and trading standards legislation.
• Any other duties relevant and related to the post.

• Three months previous experience in a retail environment

• Customer focused - maintains a professional level of customer service at all times; identifies accurately the needs of internal and external customers and works to exceed the customer's expectations by delivering a high quality service
• Ability to actively sell to customers
• Personal Drive and a pleasant, positive and enthusiastic, 'can do' attitude, demonstrating an appropriate level of motivation
• Good standard of dress and appearance - clean and well groomed
• A good team player with the ability to work in a team environment

• Previous experience of cash handling
