Job summary

Saltrock Paignton is seeking a Sales Advisor on a 4-hour contract to join our Retail team. You’ll work with an energetic team, delivering an excellent in-store experience for customers while helping to achieve sales targets.

You should enjoy selling, be friendly, have an eye for visual merchandising, and be competent at till operations and cash/card handling. Retail experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Help to achieve sales targets by demonstrating product passion and processing sales transactions.
• Ensure customers have a positive in-store experience in a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards for a healthy, safe store.
• Provide product information including features, benefits and stock availability.
• Assist with markdowns and price changes within set timescales.
• Keep product tidy, presentable and re-stock as needed.
• Support merchandising in line with guidelines and process deliveries.

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care


• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.


• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store


• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability


• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales


• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed


• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines


• Process deliveries
