Job summary

Saltrock is seeking a Sales Advisor for a 4 hour contract to support our coastal brand in-store. You’ll join an energetic team, helping customers, processing sales and keeping the shop welcoming and well-presented.

Requirements include a passion for retail, ability to discuss product features and stock, and willingness to assist with merchandising and deliveries. Uniforms and employee discounts are provided, with holiday pro-rata for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in Retail desirable but not essential.
• Ability to communicate product features and stock availability.
• Comfortable with till operations and cash/card handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving sales targets by promoting products and processing transactions.
• Create a welcoming store environment and assist customers with enquiries.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Provide product information and stock status to customers.
• Support markdowns/price changes as directed.
• Keep product tidy and fully replenished on shelves.
• Assist with merchandising according to guidelines.
• Process deliveries as required.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care


• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.


• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store


• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability


• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales


• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed


• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines


• Process deliveries

What you will bring on the journey

• A warm and friendly manner that fits with our culture


• A passion for selling and interacting with customers


• Recognition of the importance of strong visual merchandising


• Competent at till operations and Cash/card handling


• Experience in Retail would be desirable but not essential
