Job summary

Rohan Designs Ltd is seeking a part-time Sales Advisor for our Newcastle store on a 10-hour contract. You will welcome customers, answer questions and help them find suitable gear while maintaining a high standard of service.

You will work as part of a friendly team, driving store targets, keeping the shop tidy and ensuring stockroom organisation. Flexible, outgoing and IT-literate candidates will excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills developed in a retail environment.
• Experience in the outdoor retail sector is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

We are currently recruiting for a part-time Sales Advisor to join the team at our Newcastle store on a 10 hour contract.

As a Sales Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and set exemplary store standards at all times. You will enjoy dealing with our customers in a friendly and efficient manner and will always be happy to help with any queries they may have.

You will:

• Be able to motivate and inspire other members of the sales team in order to achieve shop targets
• Ensure the stockrooms are maintained to a high standard, and also that the shop is clean, neat and tidy at all times.
• Be capable of clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Be an excellent timekeeping
• Have full awareness of security issues, (e.g. stock loss prevention)
• Give advice and suggestions where necessary
• Engage with the customer and make them feel welcome

What will you need?

• You will have good organisational and communication skills and enjoy giving great customer service and achieving goals.
• To fulfil this exciting role you will possess excellent Customer Service skills, which you will have gained within a retail environment, ideally within the outdoor industry.
