Job summary

Saltrock Surfwear Ltd. is seeking a Sales Advisor to join our Retail team on a 4-hour contract. You will work alongside an energetic team, engaging with customers to deliver an excellent in-store experience and drive sales.

You will help maintain a welcoming store environment, handle till transactions with care, and contribute to visual merchandising and stock management. Retail experience is desirable but not essential, and discounts on Saltrock products are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer-facing roles is desirable.
• Ability to process sales transactions with care.
• Strong visual merchandising awareness.
• Able to work on a 4-hour contract.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by demonstrating passion for the product and brand while processing sales transactions with care.
• Ensure customers have a positive experience in-store, making it inviting and welcoming.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards to ensure a healthy, safe store environment.
• Provide customers with information about products, features, benefits and stock availability.
• Assist with markdowns and price changes within agreed timescales.
• Keep products tidy and presentable and replenish as needed.
• Support merchandising efforts in line with brand guidelines.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energeticteam, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers deliveringan excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve salestargets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand whileprocessing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positiveexperience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standardthe outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed ourcustomers with information about our product including features and benefitsand stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidyand presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction withour guidelines

What you will bring on the journey

• A warm and friendly manner that fits with ourculture
• A passion for selling and interacting withcustomers
• Recognition of the importance ofstrong visual merchandising
• Competent at till operations and Cash/cardhandling
• Experience in Retail would bedesirable but not essential
