Job summary

Sofa.com in Bankside is seeking a friendly Sales Advisor to support our showroom team. This part-time role (24 hours a week) requires weekend availability and a passion for interiors, great customer service, and a memorable shopping experience.

You will welcome customers, understand their needs, offer inspirational ideas, process quotations and orders accurately, and represent Sofa.com with enthusiasm, contributing to a positive store culture and high showroom standards.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Experience within retail alongside proven experience with interiors/furniture.
• Strong sales experience and awareness of trends to support the customer in styling their rooms/homes.
• Be ambitious and confident, with a strong can-do attitude.
• Be enthusiastic and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
• A desire to work as part of a team to generate fresh and innovative ideas.
• Proficiency in MS Office and general IT.

Responsibilities

• Being a brand ambassador for sofa.com whilst embracing the customer journey and leading by example in endorsing the company culture and standards.
• Proactively improving and updating knowledge of product & interior trends.

As a member of our team you will be the first point of contact with our customers and will spend your time advising them with inspirational ideas to fulfil their needs. You should thrive in a customer service environment, always going above and beyond.

Part of this role is offering payment solutions to our customers, including the introduction of our credit options, giving all of our customers a chance to elevate their homes using payment methods which are suitable for their own individual circumstances.
