Jewson, part of Stark UK, is recruiting a Sales Advisor for the Croydon branch. This full-time role covers Monday–Friday 7:30–17:00 with alternating Saturdays 08:00–12:00 and includes occasional yard support.

You will drive new business, manage key accounts, onboard new customers and grow profitability through smart sales strategies and hands-on customer engagement.

• Lead generation and prospecting to identify new business opportunities and pursue accounts.
• Account management: retain and grow existing customer relationships, upsell and cross-sell solutions.
• Onboarding and activation of new customers within the first weeks of engagement.
• Drive margin and share-of-wallet growth by optimizing profitability.
• Manage the full sales process from leads to closing and forecast pipeline.
• Conduct regular customer visits, product demonstrations and presentations to drive sales.
• Provide timely, accurate reports on sales activities, customer feedback and market insights.

We are recruiting for a Sales Advisor to join our friendly Jewson branch in Croydon, Addiscombe Road CR0 6AA.

Due to the team size in branch, we are looking for someone who has a passion for sales, but also has a willingness to support the rest of the team.

This will be a dual role and will involve regularly covering in the yard.

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30-1700, and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00.

WhatYou’llBeDoing

• Lead generation and prospecting: Identifynew business opportunities and proactively pursue new customer accounts through strategic prospecting.
• Account Management - Customer Retention & Growth: Maintain and grow existing customer relationships by understanding their needs, upselling and cross-selling solutions.
• Onboarding & Activation: Ensure new customers are successfully onboarded and activated, maximising spend potential within the first 13 weeks.
• Margin & Share Of Wallet Growth: Drive increased profitability by optimising margins and increasing the share of wallet from each customer.
• Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuringaccurateforecasting and pipeline management.
• Customer Engagement: Conduct regular customer visits, productdemonstrationsand presentations to build rapport and drive sales.
• Reporting & Feedback: Provideaccurateandtimelyreports on sales activities, customerfeedbackand market insights.
