Jewson, part of Stark UK, is hiring a Sales Advisor for our Croydon (Addiscombe Road CR0 6AA) branch. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday 7:30–17:00, with every other Saturday 08:00–12:00, and involves yard coverage from time to time.

You’ll lead prospecting, manage accounts, onboard new customers, and drive margin growth to exceed targets. We value enthusiasm, decency, team spirit, and pride in your work.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation and prospecting: identify new business opportunities and pursue new customer accounts.
• Account management: grow existing relationships through upselling and cross-selling.
• Onboarding and activation: ensure customers are onboarded and activated early to maximise spend.
• Margin and share of wallet growth: optimise margins and increase wallet share.
• Sales process management: manage process from lead to close with accurate forecasting.
• Customer engagement: visit customers, showcase products and present to drive sales.
• Reporting and feedback: provide timely reports on sales activities and market insights.

We are recruiting for a Sales Advisor to join our friendly Jewson branch in Croydon, Addiscombe Road CR0 6AA.

Due to the team size in branch, we are looking for someone who has a passion for sales, but also has a willingness to support the rest of the team.

This will be a dual role and will involve regularly covering in the yard.

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30-1700, and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00.

WhatYou’llBe Doing:

• Lead generation and prospecting: Identifynew business opportunities and proactively pursue new customer accounts through strategic prospecting.
• Account Management - Customer Retention & Growth: Maintain and grow existing customer relationships by understanding their needs, upselling and cross-selling solutions.
• Onboarding & Activation: Ensure new customers are successfully onboarded and activated, maximising spend potential within the first 13 weeks.
• Margin & Share of Wallet growth: Drive increased profitability by optimising margins and increasing the share of wallet from each customer.
• Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuringaccurateforecasting and pipeline management.
• Customer engagement: Conduct regular customer visits, productdemonstrationsand presentations to build rapport and drive sales.
• Reporting & Feedback: Provideaccurateandtimelyreports on sales activities, customerfeedbackand market insights.
