Job summary

Jewson Partnership Solutions in Grimsby is looking for a Sales Advisor to deliver excellent customer service and support branch operations. You’ll get to know our product lines, build strong customer relationships, and use our in-house systems to process orders and organise deliveries.

Regularly maintain stock, keep the branch tidy, and work with colleagues to identify improvement opportunities. A full UK driving licence for a 3.5-tonne van is required, and hours are Monday–Friday 7.30am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Previous industry experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience in a customer facing environment.
• Passion for working with people.
• A positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Get to know our product lines and services to maximise customer interactions.
• Develop relationships with existing customers face-to-face and over the phone.
• Use in-house systems to process orders, organise deliveries and update customers.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Advisor at our thriving Grimsby (DN31 2SG) branch!

Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS), who specialise in providing solutions and building materials for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities, is on the hunt for a Customer Service Advisor who's as passionate about great service as we are.

The role involves regular manual handling and driving duties and therefore requires a full UK driving licence with entitlement to drive a 3.5-tonne van, along with the ability to carry out physical tasks safely.

Working hours:

Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm

What You’ll Be Doing

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our JPS values
• Develop great relationships with existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
• Keep the branch and yard looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
• Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
