Job summary

STARK Building Materials UK is seeking a Customer Service Advisor in Swindon (SN2 8YR). The FTC role runs until April 2027, with Monday–Friday core hours 7:30am–4:30pm. You’ll learn our product lines, develop relationships with customers, and manage orders and deliveries, driving great service and accuracy.

A full UK driving licence for van duties is required. You’ll join a supported team with competitive benefits, staff discounts and pension, plus life assurance and wellbeing perks.

• Comfort using in-house systems to process orders.

Responsibilities

• Get to know our product lines and services to guide customer interactions.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers face-to-face and over the phone.
• Use in-house systems to process orders, organise deliveries and update customers.
• Keep the branch and yard tidy to make a strong first impression.
• Maintain stock levels with regular counts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify improvement opportunities.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor in our thriving Swindon (SN2 8YR).

Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS), who specialise in providing solutions and building materials for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities, is on the hunt for a Customer Service Advisor who’s as passionate about great service as we are.

The role involves regular manual handling and driving duties and therefore requires a full UK driving licence with entitlement to drive a 3.5-tonne van, along with the ability to carry out physical tasks safely.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm

Note: This is a FTC until April 2027

What You’ll Be Doing

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our JPS values

• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible

• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey

• Keep the branch and yard looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers

• Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts

• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
