Job summary

H&V is a leading distributor of plumbing products in the UK, seeking a motivated Sales Administrator to join the team in Cannock. You will support the sales team with order processing, quotations and customer enquiries, while coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.

The role focuses on building relationships with independent plumbing and heating merchants, maintaining accurate records and contributing to a proactive, customer-focused sales environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, sales support or a similar role.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process sales orders accurately from enquiry to delivery.
• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email promptly.
• Provide quotations, pricing and product availability information.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse and transport for stock and deliveries.
• Monitor order progress and communicate delays to customers and sales team.
• Maintain accurate customer records and pricing information.
• Support the sales team with administration, reporting and office duties.
• Assist with stock enquiries, sourcing and back-order management.
• Handle returns and credits per procedures.
• Build relationships with independent plumbing and heating merchants.
