Job summary

RETAIND Ltd in Corby is recruiting a Sales Administrator for a busy manufacturing environment. You’ll support the Commercial Manager, guiding customers from initial enquiry through to quotations, orders and production, while assisting with AI-enabled marketing tasks and campaigns.

You will learn to interpret customer drawings, including CAD, and help prepare accurate quotations. Full training will be provided and there is room to grow within the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales administration or sales support within manufacturing is essential.
• Strong customer-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
• Attention to detail when handling orders, quotations and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Process sales orders and verify pricing, specs and customer details.
• Prepare and issue accurate quotations using provided guidelines.
• Handle customer enquiries by phone and email with a professional approach.
• Follow up on quotations and maintain up-to-date customer activity records.
• Gather customer requirements and ensure missing information is obtained.
• Support Commercial Manager with marketing tasks using templates and AI tools.
• Liaise with production to communicate requirements and keep orders progressing.
• Keep customers informed on order status, lead times and delivery updates.
• Review contracts by cross-checking order details with quotations.
