Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in Pocklington, East Riding for a Sales Administrator to join their team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

The role focuses on processing orders, handling enquiries and delivering excellent customer service, with training provided. After 3–6 months there is potential for hybrid working and, for the right candidate, a permanent opportunity.

Qualifications

• Has previous administration, sales administration or customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems.
• Can manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
• Professional and proactive approach.
• Experience with marketing and social media would be advantageous.
• Enjoys working as part of a small, supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Processing customer sales orders accurately using the company's ERP system.
• Managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations and following up on leads.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
• Providing regular updates on orders, lead times and deliveries.
• Liaising with production and technical teams to resolve order queries.
• Maintaining accurate records of enquiries, quotations and orders.
• Answering incoming telephone calls and providing excellent customer service.
• Supporting general office administration duties including filing, scanning and document management.
• Assisting with marketing activities and social media content where required.
• Supporting trade shows, customer visits and other business projects as needed.

£28,000 - £30,000 per annum 12-Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) Potential Permanent Opportunity

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm

Opportunity to work from home one day per week after 3-6 months, subject to successful completion of training and business requirements.

Commutable from York, Selby, Tadcaster, Sherburn in Elmet, Market Weighton, Beverley

The Role
