Job summary

TXM Recruit is recruiting a Sales Administrator for an established engineering and automation business in Milton Keynes. The role provides key support to the sales team, assisting with quotations, pricing and the smooth running of the sales process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Sales Administration, Sales Support, Sales Coordination or a similar role.
• Strong SAP experience is essential.
• Experience working within a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable dealing with engineering teams and external suppliers.
• Experience working with quotations and pricing.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Business Development Manager and wider sales team with day to day sales activity.
• Preparing and managing customer quotations.
• Taking quotations from the sales team and issuing them to customers.
• Managing and maintaining quotation pricing.
• Liaising with the purchasing team to obtain and confirm supplier pricing.
• Working closely with engineering teams and suppliers to support customer requirements.
• Dealing with customer queries relating to quotations and pricing.
• Ensuring quotation information is accurate and kept up to date.
• Maintaining accurate records within internal systems.
• Supporting opportunities through the quotation and sales process.

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join an established engineering and automation business based in Milton Keynes.

This is a key support role within the sales team, working closely with the Business Development Manager and wider sales function to support customer quotations, pricing and the smooth running of the sales process.
