Join us as a Sales Administrator – 1-Year Maternity Cover.

We are looking for an energetic and detail-drivenSales Administratorto support our fast-paced commercial team during a maternity cover.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Project Managers and Category Buyers by assisting with sourcing costs, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring seamless project delivery.

Job Tasks

1. Work with Project Managers to source and obtain best costs for ‘repeat’ bespoke items.

2. Work with Project Managers to source and obtain best costs for components of new bespoke items.

3. Assist Project Managers in completing tender and quoting documents.

4. Take ownership of the administrative elements of projects that have been successfully won. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Processing sales orders for Harrison Retail projects.
  • Following-up internal and external stakeholders to progress open sales orders.
  • Creating and progressing Purchase Orders for bespoke items.
  • Creating and updating product and other records on the business ERP system(s).
  • Ensuring all required information is disseminated to relevant internal teams.
  • Program and update the PM software.
  • Attend project progress meetings, following-up action points, and updating relevant parties as necessary.

5. Take ownership of the administrative elements of on-boarding new customers to Harrison. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Planning the on-boarding in the PM software and updating accordingly.
  • Completing relevant internal and external documents.

6. Complete other tasks as assigned by the Project Managers, Category Buyers, or the Commercial Manager.

7. Identify waste processes and highlighting these to your line manager

8. Actively participate in personal development plans that are set and agreed with your line manager

9. Achieve personal goals that are set and agreed with your line manager.

10. Participate in meetings and activities in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications and Experience

1. Experience in customer-communicating administrative roles.

2. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

3. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

4. Demonstrable ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

5. Strong planner with great organisational skills.

6. A team player as well as the ability to work independently.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Skills and Attributes

1. Highly motivated and detail orientated.

2. Solution driven mindset with good analytical and trouble-shooting skills.

3. Keen to pick up new challenges and get ‘stuck in’.

4. Ability to multitask with good time and project management skills.

5. Experience in using Clickup, Asana or other similar Project Management software.
