Job summary

Prime Appointments Ltd is helping a client in the Witham area recruit a Sales Administrator Apprentice. This is a full-time, permanent role with standard hours 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, paying £16,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• GCSEs graded 5 (C) or above.
• Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Confident using computers and Microsoft Office, with a willingness to learn new systems.
• A customer-focused, positive and reliable approach.
• Keen to learn and develop a career within sales administration.

Responsibilities

• Processing customer sales orders accurately from order through to delivery.
• Booking and tracking customer shipments using online courier and freight systems.
• Preparing shipping documentation, labels and customs paperwork where required.
• Providing customers with order updates, tracking information and proof of delivery.
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, couriers and freight providers.
• Supporting with purchase orders, quotations and gathering pricing information.
• Maintaining accurate customer, order and shipment records.
• Providing general administrative support and answering incoming calls.
