Job summary

Prime Appointments Ltd is assisting a client in the Witham area to recruit a Sales Administrator Apprentice. This full-time, permanent role runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with a salary of £16,000 per annum.

You will learn sales administration, order processing and logistics on the job. Key duties include processing customer sales orders, tracking shipments, preparing shipping documents, providing order updates and liaising with customers, suppliers and couriers.

Qualifications

• GCSEs grade 5 (C) or above.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Confident using computers and Microsoft Office; willing to learn new systems.
• Customer-focused, positive and reliable approach.
• Keen to learn and develop a career in sales administration.

Responsibilities

• Process customer sales orders from order to delivery.
• Book and track customer shipments using courier systems.
• Prepare shipping documents, labels and customs paperwork.
• Provide customers with order updates, tracking and PODs.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, couriers and freight providers.
• Support with purchase orders, quotations and pricing information gathering.
• Maintain accurate customer, order and shipment records.
• Provide general administrative support and answer calls.
