Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Business Development Manager to work on our Cheshire Life Magazine portfolio. Cheshire Life is a vibrant, lifestyle magazine that offers luxury brands great advertising opportunities. The title has unrivalled coverage, award winning content and a true passion for the finer things in life. The publication is an excellent choice for high end organisations to promote their brands with our affluent audience. You will assume a pivotal role in expanding and overseeing our subscriber base through the acquisition of new business. If you are a driven sales professional with experience in prospecting and lead generation, we would like to hear from you.
You will be selling both print and some digital advertising solutions to existing and prospective clients, throughout the Cheshire region. We are looking for an individual who is great at building relationships with customers both over the phone and face to face at client meetings, understanding their needs and presenting the best solutions from a portfolio of options.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Predominantly, you will be selling our wide portfolio of print based advertising solutions complemented by some digitally focused services ranging from web based advertising and video creation. It’s important that you are digitally savvy however you will receive excellent training to bring you up to speed on SEO, Social media, DPM, Display and programmatic options.
You will be working from home on a hybrid basis and you will be given a laptop & phone to enable this. The activity is based on meeting with clients throughout the week, so you do need to live 30 minutes from Cheshire and be able to use your own car.
You will be supported by a manager who will guide you with calls, training, 1-1's and team meetings. Your team manager is extremely supportive and experienced ensuring you are set up for success.
