Woodgrange Medical Practice in London is offering a salaried GP post within a large primary care team of doctors, nurses and pharmacists. The role includes consultations, home visits, telephone and video triage, prescribing, and teaching students and trainees.

A growing list of over 16,000 patients and doctors with specialist interests are part of the practice. The post involves extended hours on a rota, involvement in audits and QOF, and preparation for CQC visits, with opportunities to develop

Formación

• Excellent verbal, written and face-to-face communication and active listening.
• Facilitative approach in clinical teaching and team work.
• Handling sensitive information tactfully in patient care.
• Discussing difficult areas sensitively and diplomatically.
• Recognising patients' needs for alternative communication methods.
• Computer skills in GP software, Microsoft Word and email.

Responsabilidades

• Provide GP services with contemporaneous notes and safety.
• Carry out telephone and video consultations and triage.
• Carry out home visits as needed.
• Prescribe from formulary where appropriate.
• Update patient records and handle hospital letters.
• Write referral letters for patients.
