Job summary

South Street Surgery is recruiting a salaried GP to cover a retirement gap. The role involves a full range of general practice work, including routine and urgent consultations, long-term condition management, home visits, prescribing, and governance duties.

The post offers four to six sessions per week with some flexibility, in collaboration with GP partners, nurses, and locum support. Full GMC registration and MRCGP (or equivalent) are required to apply.

Job description

South Street Surgery, a small general practice of about 4,000 patients, is recruiting a salaried GP to fill a gap left by a planned retirement. The work covers the full range of general practice, from routine and urgent consultations and long-term condition management to home visits and prescribing. The post runs at around four to six sessions a week, with some flexibility, alongside GP partners, nurses and regular locum support. Full GMC registration and MRCGP or an equivalent are needed to apply.
