Stuart Road Surgery in Pontefract is inviting applications for a salaried GP to join our expanding clinical team. Newly qualified GPs are welcome, as are those seeking tier 2 sponsorship. The role includes 6 sessions per week with morning and afternoon sessions, home visits, and on-call rota responsibilities.

Desirable but not essential are skills in joint injections or minor surgery. Our practice serves about 7,100 patients and is located at the edge of Pontefract town centre.

Responsibilities

Job description

Stuart Road Surgery is continuing its journey through a period of transformation and we are inviting applications for a salaried GP to join our expanding clinical team to deliver excellent patient care. Newly qualified GP's (or those about to qualify) are welcome to apply, as are those requiring tier 2 sponsorship. We are considering applications from those who are looking for 6 sessions per week., We are looking for a GP to cover morning and afternoon sessions. This will include home visits and Duty (On-call) rota as required.

Additional skills such as joint injections and minor surgery, or the desire to undertake the training would be desirable, but are not essential.

Stuart Road Surgery is a GP and nurse training practice with a patient list size of around 7100 patients, and conveniently located on the edge of Pontefract town centre.

Our clinical team comprises of 2 x GP Partners, 6 x Salaried GP's, 2 x Practice nurses and 1 x HCA along with a team of external staff employed by our Primary Care Network. Our admin team comprises of a around 13 dedicated and supportive admin / reception staff along with our Practice / business manager and Operations Manager.

Salary will be competitive, but dependent upon experience. Salary will be extremely competitive and negotiable dependent upon experience.
