NPC Spring Terrace, a teaching practice within Northumbria Primary Care, is offering a salaried GP post for up to six sessions on a 12-month fixed-term basis. The role focuses on general medical services with a busy caseload and a job plan agreed with the post holder.

The practice trains GP registrars, medical and nursing students, and provides protected time for quality improvement with 15-minute appointments. GMC registration and being on a performers list are required.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration.
• Currently on a performers list.
• Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent (JCPTGP/nMRCGP).
• Experience in teaching GP registrars, medical and nursing students.
• Experience with quality improvement in primary care.

Responsabilités

• Provide general medical services to the practice population, including registered and temporary patients.
• Manage a busy caseload of diverse health needs in primary care.
• Act as a key clinician within the multidisciplinary practice team.
• Agree and deliver a job plan.
• Support teaching of GP registrars, medical and nursing students.
• Contribute to quality improvement to enhance patient care and staff wellbeing.
• Contribute to operational and strategic management of Northumbria Primary Care practices.
