University Medical Group is seeking a salaried GP for a 12-month fixed-term contract starting January 2027. The post involves six weekly sessions handling 14 patients per session via telephone or face-to-face, with 10-minute slots and 20 minutes for complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Deliver six sessions a week, each with 14 patients by telephone or face to face
• Run 10-minute appointments, with 20 minutes for complex or frail elderly patients
• Work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, typically 08:00 to 18:30
• Work extended hours from 18:30 to 20:00, one to two times a month
• Mentor and supervise other members of the team, with appointments blocked for this
• Teaching medical students and GP registrars
