Guide Post Medical Group is recruiting a salaried GP to work 4–6 clinical sessions per week, focusing on surgery and telephone consultations with a mix of home visits and Enhanced Access sessions shared across GPs. A usual doctor system supports continuity of care within a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants must have completed CCT, be listed on the GP Register, and have DBS clearance; a commitment to annual NHS appraisal is expected.

Qualificações

• Completed CCT as a qualified GP.
• Current entry on the GP Register.
• DBS clearance.
• Annual NHS appraisal.

Responsabilidades

• Surgery and telephone consultations, triage and home visits.
• Making autonomous clinical decisions on self-referred and team-referred problems.
• Assessing undifferentiated problems and screening for disease risk factors.
• Developing care plans and setting up systems for chronic conditions.
• Checking and authorising repeat prescriptions and issuing acute prescriptions.
• Prescribing from the practice formulary where appropriate.
• Responding to medical problems and referring for further opinion as needed.
• Recording clear notes and updating the clinical database.
• Participating in audit, QOF reporting and performance monitoring.
• Training GP registrars and medical students.
