Job summary

Alma Medical Centre, a training practice serving about 10,500 patients, is seeking a salaried GP to join a supportive team. The role covers routine and urgent consultations, long-term condition management, and teaching medical students and GP registrars.

Flexible sessions (six to eight preferred, negotiable) with induction, mentoring, and opportunities to develop clinical interests and leadership, plus a rota for duty doctor.

Qualifications

• Provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care within a supportive team.
• Routine and urgent GP consultations.
• Long-term condition management.
• Home visits on a shared basis.
• Participation in the duty doctor rota.
• Managing clinical correspondence, referrals and prescriptions.
• Supporting quality improvement and clinical governance.
• Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
• Teaching for those with an interest in education.
