Rugby Health is seeking a qualified GP for a salaried post across its primary care network. You will assess, diagnose and treat patients autonomously, provide patient-centred care and contribute to ongoing quality improvement across two practices with multidisciplinary teams.

Applicants should have GMC registration, a CCT in General Practice, and experience in primary care with QOF/audit activity. Travel between sites and flexible hours are part of the role.

Competenze

• Qualified GP with CCT in general practice
• Full GMC registration with licence to practise
• Experience in a primary care environment and with QOF/clinical audit
• Evidence of ongoing professional development
• Not previously substantively employed at a GP practice or Rugby Health practice in the past 12 months

• Deliver highly effective medical care to the registered population following the primary care contract
• Assess, diagnose and treat patients autonomously in primary care
• Prescribe generically in line with local and national guidance
• Manage long-term conditions effectively
• Process referrals and repeat prescriptions promptly
• Take a rotating share of telephone triage and duty doctor work
• Keep accurate clinical records and document governance activities
• Share workload and collaborate with the team
• Contribute to clinical governance and training
• Support training of GP registrars, medical students and other staff
