Job summary

ACF Medical Group is seeking a salaried GP to join a four-practice network accredited as a training practice. The role includes face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits and prescribing with on-call duties pro rata. Flexible timings with up to seven sessions per week and no out-of-hours or weekend work are offered.

Qualifications

• MRCGP, JCPTGP/VTTC or equivalent, and CCT eligibility.
• Full GMC registration and right to work in the UK.
• Experience in a primary care setting with QOF and clinical audit.
• Excellent communication and IT skills.
• Willingness to work with flexible session patterns.

Responsibilities

• Face-to-face and telephone consultations, surgery sessions and home visits.
• Assessing undifferentiated problems and making autonomous clinical decisions.
• Developing management plans in line with current protocols.
• Prescribing and issuing prescriptions, following formulary where appropriate.
• Screening for risk factors and admitting referrals as needed.
• Providing patient education and health advice.
• Weekly on-call duties pro rata.
• Accurate documentation and read-coding of patient data.
• Leading on health and safety and infection control across the practice.
• Contributing to audits, evaluation and clinical standards.
