Job summary

A well-regarded GP Training Practice in the Torquay area is seeking a Salaried GP for 5 sessions. This is a well-managed role with excellent continuity of care, a structured 10 patient per session, 15-minute appointment system, and a supportive, extensive leadership team.

The Practice is long established with a small, calm team, on-site parking and EMIS. Benefits include 6 weeks annual leave, 1 week study leave, indemnity paid and NHS pension, with scope for further study and specialisms.

Qualifications

• GP qualification and GMC registration required.
• Experience in general practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 15-minute GP appointments.
• Manage a 10-patient per session list with 5 sessions per week.
• Provide high continuity of care with own patient list.

Salary & Benefits

• Up to £12,500 per session (depending on experience and additional responsibilities)

Workload & Structure

• Just 20 patients per day
• 15-minute appointments
• 5 sessions
• 3 hours of admin time per day plus hour-long lunch break
• Excellent continuity with your own patient list
• Coffee break every morningVery well managed on-call - triage GP allocating appointments but soon moving to acute care hub with sister practice locally
