Job summary

General Practitioner - Clinical Lead in Torquay, Devon, is a permanent part-time role offering 6-8 sessions per week with a salary up to £125,000 FTE depending on experience. The post combines high-quality clinical work with clinical leadership within an established primary care service.

You will work with the Practice Manager and the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care, governance, and ongoing practice development, with opportunities for progression and specialist interests.

Qualifications

• Holds GMC registration and inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• GP accreditation / MRCGP or equivalent experience.
• Has previous experience or a strong interest in clinical leadership.
• Committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
• Good understanding of QOF, DES/LCS and clinical governance.
• Confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proactive approach to service development and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

General Practitioner - Clinical Lead

Location: Torquay, Devon
Sessions: 6-8 sessions per week
Salary: Up to £125,000 FTE, depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced GP Clinical Lead to join a well-established primary care service in Torquay.

This is an ideal position for a GP who enjoys a combination of high-quality clinical work and clinical leadership, with the opportunity to help shape the ongoing development of the practice and improve patient care.

The Role

As Clinical Lead, you will work closely with the Practice Manager and wider clinical team to support the delivery of high-quality patient services, while continuing to provide routine GP clinical sessions.

The role will involve:
