Job summary

Hama Medical Centre in the United Kingdom seeks a motivated Salaried GP to join our established clinical team. We operate a total triage model using SystmConnect, providing a mix of triage/on-call and pre-booked appointments with flexibility and continuity of care.

You will be well supported by experienced GP colleagues, the wider practice team and our PCN, with a BMA-compliant job plan and protected time within the working week.

Qualifications

• First Medical Degree MB/MBBS, plus one foundation year as a Medical Practitioner.
• GP Specialist training.
• GMC registration and Royal College of General Practitioners membership.
• Experience as a GP in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Undertake surgery and telephone consultations, home visits, and manage prescriptions and correspondence in a timely manner.
• Make professional, autonomous decisions for presenting problems and coordinate care with colleagues within the organisation.
• Assess healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.

Join our friendly and supportive GP team at Hama Medical Centre Hama Medical Centre is a well-organised, forward-thinking practice with a friendly and supportive team. We are looking for a motivated Salaried GP to join our established clinical team and become part of a practice that values teamwork, high-quality patient care and a positive working environment. We operate a total triage model using SystmConnect, helping us to manage patient demand safely and effectively. The role offers a varied clinical week, with a mixture of triage/on-call work and pre-booked appointments, providing both flexibility and continuity of care. We offer a BMA-compliant job plan, with protected time appropriately allocated within the working week. You will be well supported by experienced GP colleagues, the wider practice team and our well-established PCN. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking to work in a supportive, well-run practice where colleagues work together and where there is scope to develop your role alongside your clinical commitments. Working 6 sessions across a Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday.,

Responsibilities

• In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking, and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.
• Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation.
• Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• First Medical Degree either MB or MBBS, plus one foundation year as a Medical Practitioner
• GP Specialist training
• GMC registration
• Royal College of General Practitioners membership
• Experience as a GP
• Awareness of the duties of a doctor and good medical practice
