Hama Medical Centre, operated by Primary Integrated Community Services, is seeking a salaried GP to join a multi-disciplinary clinical team in the UK. The post focuses on surgery, telephone consultations, home visits, and management of undifferentiated presentations within a triage model on SystmConnect.

The candidate must have GMC registration, MB/MBBS, and GP specialist training, with RCGP membership and CPD evidence.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Surgery and telephone consultations, and home visits, in line with the practice timetable.
• Make autonomous clinical decisions on presenting problems, self-referred or referred.
• Assess undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
• Check and sign repeat prescriptions and manage queries and paperwork.
• Compile and prescribe using the practice formulary when appropriate.
• Screen patients for disease risk and early signs.
• Develop care plans and apply disease management protocols.
• Provide counselling and health education.
• Record consultation notes and contribute audit data.
• Lead on infection control, PPE, and specimen management.

Hama Medical Centre, run by Primary Integrated Community Services, is recruiting a salaried GP to join its established clinical team. The work centres on surgery and telephone consultations, home visits, assessing undifferentiated presentations and signing repeat prescriptions. The practice runs a total triage model on SystmConnect, combining triage and on-call sessions with pre-booked appointments across six sessions from Wednesday to Friday. Candidates need GMC registration and an MB or MBBS degree.

What the job involves

• Surgery and telephone consultations, and home visits, in line with the agreed practice timetable
• Making autonomous clinical decisions on presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred by colleagues
• Assessing patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
• Checking and signing repeat prescriptions, and dealing promptly with queries, paperwork and correspondence
• Compiling computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions, prescribing from the practice formulary where clinically appropriate
• Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
• Developing care plans and applying disease management protocols with patients
• Providing counselling and health education
• Admitting and discharging patients to and from the caseload, and referring to other providers
• Recording clear consultation notes and collecting audit data
• Leading on infection control, health and safety, PPE, sharps and specimen management
• Contributing to computer-based patient records, including summarising and read-coding patient data

What’s required
