We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team. We are a 5 GP Partner Practice, based in an excellent, modern Health Centre in the centre of Accrington.
We are a large, forward-thinking practice with more than 17,000 patients, committed to delivering high-quality care.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and eager to help further develop the Practice.
The successful candidate will:
Our strength lies in the diverse skills and interests within our multidisciplinary team, including Doctors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, First Contact Physios, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Nurse Associates, Mental Health Practitioners, Health and Wellbeing Coaches, and Social Prescribers. We benefit from a structured management team led by the Practice Operations and Strategic Manager. We are a training practice working closely with our Primary Care Network (Hyndburn Central), with active involvement from the PCN Clinical Lead and representation on the local Alliance Federation board and LMC.
We hold daily informal huddles to discuss the day ahead, along with regular structured practice meetings, including whole staff, clinical, safeguarding, and training sessions.
We are passionate about teaching and are a well-respected training practice for GP trainees, Foundation Doctors, and medical students.
This position requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975.
