Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Safety Specialist to promote and enforce a culture of safety across all job sites and operations in the United Kingdom. The role ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies while actively preventing injuries and incidents.

The position requires 2+ years of safety experience in relevant environments, OSHA 29 CFR 1926 knowledge, and OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of safety experience in construction, telecom, utility or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards (29 CFR 1926).
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular job site safety inspections and audits.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Lead safety orientations and ongoing safety training for field employees.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and safety incidents; prepare detailed reports.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans.
• Maintain safety documentation including OSHA logs, training records, and certifications.
• Partner with operations managers and supervisors to reinforce safe work practices.
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe equipment operation.
• Assist in developing and updating company safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in safety committee meetings.
