Location: Ipswich

Salary: Circa £55,000 + Car Allowance & Excellent Benefits

Overview

Irwin and Colton are engaged by a leading Principal Contractor to recruit a SHEQ Advisor for their sites across the East Anglia region. This organization is a leader in the industry and is looking to expand its team. The successful candidate will work across multiple construction projects; prior multi-site experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Engage with sites to implement health and safety policies and ensure compliance with legislation
• Conduct training sessions, toolbox talks, inductions, and investigate incidents when required
• Review risk assessments and method statements; address health and safety queries
• Perform audits and inspections, identify improvements, and report findings

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in construction or related industries
• NEBOSH Certificate; membership of IOSH is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, capable of tailoring messages to diverse stakeholders
• Motivated, enthusiastic, with a willingness to learn and develop
