Safety, Health and Environmental Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and advice to the business on compliance with statutory requirements and company standards through guidance and observation visits.
- Respond to requests for advice within the area of expertise, collaborating with the SHE Lead and others as appropriate.
- Undertake risk assessments related to SHE.
- Work proactively with operational teams during the project lifecycle to ensure SHE considerations are integrated at all stages, with relevant control measures identified.
- Assist the business in implementing OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Conduct active monitoring of company projects using the monitoring system.
- Identify areas of poor practice or significant risk.
- Investigate incidents, produce detailed factual reports, determine root causes, and recommend improvements.
- Liaise with enforcement authorities as necessary.
- Assist the SHE Manager in preparing, reviewing, and updating SHE policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior managers and directors to develop and implement divisional strategies for SHE improvement.
- Stay informed about new legislation and best practices in SHE.
