Safety Case Engineer

We have a thrilling new opportunity for a Safety Case Engineer to support multiple projects under a multi-million-pound infrastructure portfolio in the West of Scotland.

You will assist in the oversight, supervision, and assessment of the production, maintenance, and development of the Client's safety cases for the entire authorized site. The role also involves authorship and development of safety cases or related safety management arrangements to support client operations.

This position offers exposure to senior stakeholders and project teams, and you will be part of a highly skilled and ambitious team.

Typical Activities

1. Attend review and project meetings.
2. Participate in Hazard Identification Workshops, optioneering reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
3. Review Safety Case documentation in line with Client arrangements and Good Practice Expectations.
4. Develop Safety Case Documents.

What We Need

Demonstrable experience in safety case delivery or assessment within a nuclear environment.

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset are essential.

Security Requirements

You must have, or be eligible for, SC clearance.

Only British-born nationals will be considered due to the nature of this project.

Location

Limited travel to site may be required, such as Facility Walkdowns; however, the role is primarily remote.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications and experience in Safety Case Delivery/Assessment.

An accredited Degree in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience).

Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
