Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Safety and Security Staff based at Foxgrove National Secure Adolescent Inpatient Service within Ayrshire Central Hospital.
What you will do:
NHS Ayrshire and Arran were successful in the bid to host the National Secure Adolescent Inpatient services for young people aged between 12 and their 18th birthday who present a significant level of risk and we are now moving towards the finalisation of the build and the clinical model with the expectation that the service will accepting the first young people into the service within 2025. We are excited to announce that we are now inviting applications for our safety and security staff.
You will be based at Foxgrove National Secure Adolescent Inpatient Service within Ayrshire Central Hospital, and will join and work alongside the Service Manager and multi-disciplinary team to assist in completion of the final development of pathways and processes focusing on security systems and maintaining critical aspects of security systems- procedurally, relationally and operationally, whilst having the opportunity to build the culture and ethos of the service prior to its opening in 2025.

Hours:
37 hours per week; this post is shift work including night shift rotation.
