Job summary

A2Dominion is seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Officer to join our central Safeguarding team and support customers and colleagues across the organisation. You will assess safeguarding cases, provide guidance, and ensure timely referrals to statutory services while upholding our safeguarding policies.

You will balance case management with training, policy development, and maintaining records, working closely with external partners to promote best practice and effective safeguarding delivery

Qualifications

• At least three years' safeguarding experience and supporting people's wellbeing.
• Experience with domestic abuse and mitigating risk for victims.
• Confident managing safeguarding concerns and completing documentation including risk assessments.
• Experience reviewing or supporting policy/procedure development.
• Able to provide safeguarding guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Comfortable in a busy environment with prescribed timescales.
• Experience delivering safeguarding training to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide safeguarding advice and support to colleagues and customers.
• Assess and manage safeguarding cases and make referrals to statutory services.
• Support risk assessments and maintain accurate records.
• Promote safeguarding policies and ensure consistent implementation.
• Train and raise awareness across the organisation and external partners.
