Job summary

Bradford Council is seeking a new team member with safeguarding knowledge to join the Customer & Business Support Team. This role is an opportunity to have a positive impact and make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.

Key responsibilities include developing safeguarding training, reviewing content for the target audience, building relationships with stakeholders, handling public inquiries, and ensuring data protection and confidentiality are maintained.

Qualifications

• Safeguarding knowledge and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver safeguarding training packages for licence holders across multiple formats including E Learning.
• Review and select content suitable for the target audience.
• Proactively build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and assist with projects.
• Interact with the public and the trade on a regular basis.
• Communicate with other authorities to share best practice and experiences.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Prepare non-standard letters, create templates, and train staff on their use.
• Respond to complaints and enquiries from service users, the public, elected members and public services including the police.
• Prioritise workload, conduct investigations as needed, and communicate outcomes.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information; respond to FOI and GDPR related requests.
